Opinions Needed on Chinese Coin: Identification and Authentication

    Hi guys,

    So I picked up this coin a few years ago in a mixed silver lot on Ebay. I know it's Chinese but, given the wealth of counterfeit material coming from there these days, I thought I'd get your opinions on it. It's not magnetic, but the strike looks quite weak in places. Thoughts on the provenance/value?

    Not genuine, not silver. A fantasy nonsense mule of Beiyang province and 1 tael which was never released for circulation.
