There are a number of proof set inserts for sale on ebay. I believe as reusable. I understand the plastic pieces just snap together. They are not glued. I do not know how they pry them apart. Maybe with a razor blade.Anybody know how this is done?

I have opened numerous proof sets and they come apart quite easily. I use the blade of my pocket knife to ease the edges apart. You have to be careful though because you don't want to make contact with the coins.

Just slide your fingernail all the way around the case. Comes apart quite easily.

Just tried using a razor blad e to start. They really came apart easily and I thought they were sealed. Anybody know what magnification they use to look for hairlines on the field? Thanks.

    I wonder

If they come apart that easy, I wonder how many people cherry pick proof sets and put the rejects back in other cases to sell and keep the good ones?
