Oooh, this penny went through a lot in the past 95 years!

I found this in my big collection of pennies. An old, old penny.
Just holding this coin in my hand, makes me wonder how many different hands it has been in. This kinda stuff just amazes me.

See, that's one of the things that draws me to this hobby. I'm something of a history and genealogy buff, and when I see an old, worn coin, it sets my mind in motion.

Don't get me wrong -- I love to own and look at the old gems, too -- but there's something mysterious about the history of an old, worn coin. The imagination can run wild thinking about where it's been, who has used it, and all that kind of stuff!

Well that coin maybe close to 100 years old, but I happen to have just not too long ago gotten a coin (foreign) that the date is 1792 and that was 212 years ago!!!!
