    Hi,

this is the only 4 Reichspfennig coin of Germany only coined in 1932. The diameter is 24 mm and the weight is 5 gr. The coins material is Bronce. It is also called the "Brüning Taler". Do you any other coins in the world, the value just coined one time? Please let me know! VS.jpg RS.jpg

I think there are a few similar examples, like the Nigerian half kobo coin (1973 only). What is different in this case (4 Rpf), however, is that the denomination was added to an existing setup ... and then dropped again.

The colloquial ironic name Brüning-Taler (well, you will know this) refers to Heinrich Brüning, chancellor of the Reich at that time. His government had the strange idea to reduce prices by replacing the 5 Pf coin with a 4 Pf piece. Did not work (surprise), people did not like the denomination. Shortly afterwards, the new (nazi) government minted 5 Pfennig coins again and took the "fourer" out of circulation.

Canada, 1858 20-cent coin. After confederation, Canada switched to the 25-cent coin first struck in 1870.
