At only $24k, what a steal!!! LOL!!! http://www.ebay.com/itm/1909-S-MINT-ERROR-ICG-EF-40-Lincoln-Wheat-Cent-Penny-/170607267438?pt=Coins_US_Individual&hash=item27b8fc4e6e
this is a very old trick . this guy is hoping for someone to offer him at least ten or fifteen dollars for this thing. this would have been a good coin if the planchet had not had the laminated place. IMO a lamination on a cheap coin will help it's value a little and on a valuable coin I would not like for it to be laminated. he has lots more of way overpriced coins in his auctions and has had them for sale for years and years, so far no fish has bit for him. the highest priced thing he has sold for a long tome was 76.00 about 95% of his coins have sold for under 5.00 error collectors are starting to learn this type sellers and are dodging them.
John was way too straight laced to be smokin' a doobie........ I'm suspecting post mint shenanigans.........LOL
