    My newest addition to the family.... I have a hard time photographing copper pieces. The pics don't do the Lincoln justice. Purchased it as an XF - what do you all think. :)

    I picked it up at my local coin shop. I got it for a good price - definitely not XF prices. :)

    Nice. Try a different color background in your photo to bring out the details better.

    Correct advice, especially for a copper coin.
    I highly recommend a non-reflective black or dark gray.
    You don't want the color of the background to influence the nature of the exposure and thus the coin.
    You don't want the brightness of the background to overpower the darker coin.
