http://cgi.ebay.com/1943-P-BU-Jeffe...goryZ524QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Only have 2 days to convince my wife I just have to own this one of a kind nicke for my collection! Any help with a convincing story LOL!!
For something that expensive I would want it certified and to be able to look at it in person before i purchased it.
Any "error" that requires a loupe to see, isn't much of an error in my book and definately isn't worth that kind of money. Trying telling you wife it's the only one in existence, then pass her the nickle and a magnifying glass and see what happens... lol.
Buy first and then ask forgiveness. Said the single man. As it is I agree with Aslanmia - not sure this coin is worth. It could be, but I am not positive.
Come on Bonedigger, whats 10-20K for a one of a kind common RPM with a one of a kind corrosion spot to boot. lol
come on guys, if I didn't know better, I'd have thought that you were kidding. Go for it! [P.S. I have a bridge available in Brooklyn]
Now that you mention the corrosion spot, I have a pretty much complete Jefferson Nickel collection and to my knowledge not even one is corroded. Does Nickel Corrode?, even the 35% silver years 42-45
Tell her it's an investment, with a chance of it doubling in value! (if the price of silver doubles, then the melt value of the coin will double! , don't have to say what you paid will double, lol. ) Phoenix
Nickelman, youre kidding right? Yea, youre kidding. As much as I dislike TPGs; It would certainly need to be graded. But youre kidding, so....
Craig a I'm sure thst ANACS would be happy to slab this coin for you but the cost of slabbing is more than the coin is worth. Richard
It costs more than 9 grand to slab coins these days? Dang! Ribbit Ps: If I would have known they were worth 9 grand, I wouldn't have sold the one I owned for 15 bucks (ANACS MS-64). :rolling: Mine was a RPM-4 but I'm not sure if it is the same as the OP coin? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=260242682396&ssPageName=STRK:MESO:IT&ih=016
I'm not sure what RPM this is the RPM Book has some 67 43P RPM's doesn't exactly match any in the book but I'd say worth about $10 depending on those green spots! If I could get 10-20K for my RPM's WOW!!!! My question is what is the listing fee this guy paid to give us a laugh?:goofer::rolling:
