Hey everyone, I have been lurking here on and off for a long time here, and finally registered and decided to post. I am looking at a couple of coins at an online dealer and did not see any posts about this dealer on the site and wanted to see if anyone has heard about them or has any experience with them. It is island coins http://www.islandcoins.com/index.htm The site looks ok, not the fanciest site but seems to be organized, and they do have a US phone number which is good. If anyone has any experience with them please let me know. Thanks!!

I have bought some coins from them in the past. My experience is that their photos are a little different than the actual appearance of the coins, but not the worst photos I have seen either. Here are some examples with the Island photos on top and my photos on the bottom. All of my purchases were made prior to the death of the owner of Island Coins last year. I don't know how his passing has affected the operation of the business. Welcome to the forum.
Top notch Dealer . There doesn't appear to be much of any change in business practices , on the negative side of things.
