Does anyone have any opinions regarding online price guides? In other words, which is the best? Are they reliable? I've discovered PCGS and Numismedia but don't know which is better. Thanks.

eBay's "Sold listings". It doesn't get more accurate than that.

PCGS is better for PCGS coins and NGC is better for NGC coins. However, my recommendation would be not to use either. eBay's sold and Heritage's auction archives are both more current and more accurate than either.

But what do you use for average everyday coins? I have a large collection of unspectacular, though quite old, coins. Will I find what I need with eBay's sold and Heritage auction archives?
