There is not one for every series and coin that I know of out there. There are some links here http://www.numislinks.com/Coin_Grading and here http://www.numislinks.com/Coin_Grading/Grading_US_Coins to some guides for some series, though
I would suggest you buy the ANA Grading Guide....it is a book and would be better than online..... You can really grade all coins by 1 or 2 photos.....each coin is like a fingerprint and learning to grade takes time and work! Speedy
What exactly is Photograde??? I mean is it grading by comparing Photos of Simmilar already graded coins as a reference or is it grading a pic of a coin??? Sorry, I'm new at the gading stuff, but I am trying to learn and am paying a lot more attention to the finer details of the coin, besides if its shiny or not...
Photograde is a book..... It has photos and a detailed write-up. You shouldn't try to match up photos with coins you own to grade .....each coin is like a fingerprint....unlike the one before.....so you just have to work and work and look at as many graded coins you can. Speedy
Speaking of Photograde. Has anyone seen the new grading guide put out by Amos Advantage/Coinworld called "Making the Grade"? It appears to be similar to Photograde and looks very well made with very nice large photographs and details.

You know, there's a large sum of money awaiting the person who translates this stuff into electronic format so the buyer can do side-by-side comparisons on their monitor. That's a product I'll buy immediately.
Why would anybody go to all the trouble of doing so ? You can pull up literally a million pics of graded coins on the Heritage site alone and do the same comparison - for free.
A very good point bga - and one I hadn't considered. I should have though To be honest with you I don't know that there is a good resource for that. I guess your best bet would be to search eBay and look for higher quality pics of coins slabbed by the top grading companies. It would require a bit of effort and time - but if you saved the pics for personal use it would probably provide you with what you need.
Another thing is, if you're familiar with some of the series' key dates and varieties, you can from time to time find these slabbed in the lower grades on Heritage. That of course will give you benchmark examples on some of the lower grades in the series.
Got a copy of Coinworld's "Making the Grade a guide to the top 25 most collected U.S. coins" in the mail today. It sure looks like a good grading guide. I haven't had a chance to look it over yet but from what I have seen I already like it better than Photograde. All nice LARGE full-color photos and easy descriptions. I consider it my on-line guide since I used the internet to order it!
