    Hello,
I got here a rare Chinese Silver Yuan Coin , first coin printed in 1903 (¿?). But one day my brother broke it by negligence. I would like professional opinion. Do you think this coin in the market still have value? There have any way to fix it? Here i add a screenshot.

How the heck did your brother "break" it? What do the Chinese make those out of? Porcelin?

    Fake coin?

I dont have idea how is a fake coin, but this one tell me that isnt fake coin. I weighing it with the balance (but not a digital one), it weighs more or less 20 grams, and have 20mm diameters. I clean it too with few soap and water( usually i dont clean the coins i have  ) , kneading it with the fingers. It seem more brillant now. Here a images.

Over the crack is only glue that my little brother add  I think making little clean is ok.

cleaning + glue = dead coin even if it was real, which I highly doubt.

Foolish question; is "pupita" the sister of pupa from the "granny died and made me rich" thread?

    Interesting coin, BTW.

    It's absolutely, positively, 100% fake.

The correct weight for a Republic Year 3 (1914) One Yuan silver coin (Y#329 with a reeded edge or Y#329.3 with a plain edge) is 26.4g, and the diameter is approximately 36mm.

20mm is the correct diameter for the 20 fen coin of the same year and design (Y#327), but it weighs only 5.4g.
