one sided 1884 morgan silver dollar ?

    check it out tell me what you think . Found it in nj after a huge rain storm. has weight to it not sure what to compare it too . One side looks like the 1884 morgan silver dollar other side smooth without fault. let me know

    It's not a Morgan. Please post images of just the coin.

    Yeah sorry about that pictures are from a lap top . Any idea what it could be since it is not a Morgan ?

    Did you not notice that the woman on this piece is facing the opposite direction of Liberty on the Morgan dollar? It could be a trial strike for some private mint being one sided, a salesman's sample strike, or a fantasy piece.

    Laptops sometimes flip the image like a mirror by default, I wonder if that is what is going on here.

    I have never seen anything like it. I guess it would be called a medal.

    Looks like a token or medal of some type. Bronze maybe?
