Sent these two off to PCGS, and just got the grades today. These are the pics before submission. One came back real and I was surprised with the grade, and one came back counterfeit. Can you guess which is which, and guess the grade of the real one.

Yikes... if you posted a $2 1/2 I could tell ya.. but I do not know these as well. One of them is a pretty darn good fake though. I'm going with the $10 as fake as well. I will say MS61 on the $3.

This would be my guess, too, but I'm not a gold person. To me, the date on the $10 doesn't look right.

Normally I would always guess the $3. They are simply counterfeited a lot more than other gold. However, I have to agree my eye is telling me something is wonky on the $10. If I have to say the $10 is fake, then I cannot see higher than AU for the $3.

I guessed MS on the grade since he was surprised by it. So it either did that, or XF.

My guess is the $10 is fake as well. Couldn't tell you why, though.
    And I think the $3 looks AU-53.

I'll go with the Indian as well. The mint mark looks off to me. I'll go with AU50 on the $3.

I agree with your observation about the "boogered" rim on the $10. I would grade the $3 at AU50, I actually think that it lies between XF45 and AU50.

$10 is Fakey McFakerson. I'll say 45 on the $3.

Me too! As much as I want to say the $3 is fake just for the fun of it, I'll say $10 is fake and $3 is MS63.
