One of these is not like the other

    Came across this 1989 Lincoln where the last 9 is thinner than the others. Can't quite figure it out. Are the others doubled? Could not find this on Variety Vista.

    So, you're saying the 198 has Die Deterioration and the last 9 is normal?

    It's the other way around.. Look at the last 9 carfully.. You can see slight doubling. That is considered DDD - Die Deterioration Doubling
