    It's a One Dollar bill from Antarctica dated 9 January 2010. Cute penguins all over it, with babies if you look closely. The writing gives me an address that I can send this bill to so I can redeem for US currency.

    That is a really neat bill. Looks like the deadline to exchange it is right around the corner. Personally, I'd keep them. :) My wife would love them with the penguins on it.

    I only have until the 31st to trade it in. That's not going to happen as I like the bill too much.

    While I agree that these sort of items can be interesting, it should be made clear that this is a fantasy piece from a non-existing issuing authority.

    Send the note in, and after the redemption period has passed write to them and ask if they would be willing to sell you some for artistic value. You should be able to negotiate about 10 cents on the dollar in quantity.
