On Friday I spent the day at the Central States Convention, where I got at Perry Siegel's booth this Aescillas as quaestor in Macedon and therefore in charge of coin production in Northern Greece.

Tetradrachm, Uncertain mint, ca. 95 - 70 BC
    16.55 g
    HGC 3, 1110

Ob.: MAKEΔO(NΩN),diademed head of deified Alexander the Great; Θ (or maybe Q) behind head
Rv.: AESILLAS Q Money chest (fiscus), club and chair (subsellium) all within wreath

Please share your Aescillas or anything relevant from Macedon, Roman Province
