I got it from John Markis / Trusted Traditions out of So. Florida. Can't remember if it was off of eBay or from his mailing list.
That is a beautiful note, I understand why it would be one of your favorites... Thanks for sharing such a nice note! Darryl
Great note....a man after my own Heart!! On my list as well...very expensive note in that grade!! RickieB
I thought for sure the wife was going to kill me when I bought it....but she's a pretty smart cookie. Her comment was, "A bill that beautiful and old and in such nice shape ought to be a good investment." Can't argue with that logic.
A nice note and a VERY NICE wife! My wife is almost as nice. The only difference is when purchasing an expensive note, she likes to come along, so I don't buy too many. Jack
How long have you had this note?? Todays prices are approaching 10K for Gem...Great Wife!! Keep her.. RickieB
that is one sweet looking note. i could only wish to have a beauty like that. can definitely see why it is a favorite of yours
Another Fav. Continuing with the snail paced Spring roll out of the Niel Collection. The "sister" to the '96 $2 SC is this guy. The face isn't quite as somber as the scan picked it up, but it isn't quite as snappy as the '96 $2 1896 $1 SC FR-225
Neil... Beautiful notes!! The Mechs and Agg note is on my list for this year as well...3.5K in that condition.. Again..beauties for sure!! Thanks for sharing them!! Can't wait to get that note as well. The Battleship is a glorious note..I am lucky enough to have this in (New York Issued )PCGS 64 ...the pinnacle of my collection thus far!! Beautiful, Beautiful and Beautiful!!! RickieB
