I would rate this as one of my 300 best coins in my collection.

Duchy of Piacenza(Parma) The Duke was an ally of Spain, who at this time occupied much of present day Italy.

In 1590 there was no Italy as we know it today. So, it would be under "Italian States" in Krause/ Friedberg catalogues.

Nice coin. One day you must set up a
web site with all of your coins pictured.
Do you buy only gold or do you buy silver
    and copper as well?

I have some AR Talers/ US Morgan/Peace Dollars/ Canadian Silver.
My main collection is of the golden metal, have 800+ coins from 650 BC (Lydia) right to 1990s Paladium/ Paltinum issues. I have AV coins from 26 centuries....

800+ AV coins, the SDB fees must be brutal.
If no smartphone you probably are using a
scanner. I'm sure the Talers are neat as well.
