Are you talking about the dent on the indians head?

Yes the dent in the head. Maybe it is damage after minting? Don't know so I figured I would ask.

    Thanks

The head trauma does look like post mint damage, but I can't tell what's going on above the date. Any guesses?

I certainly see what you are talking about, but no clue what it could be.

Post-mint damage, followed by further abuse and corrosion. Poor coin.

Not an error, but it is the more difficult to find 1860 type 1/pointed bust.
