...to complete my set of business strike coins, now to work on the proofs and upgrading my circs to BUs. The local club hosted their annual show this weekend and I was able to pick up everything I needed, except for a 44-S. I'll hit the local dealer this week to get that one. Tony
Neat and Way to go!!! I'm not anywhere near that set being done...I have a few of the set that I could do with change almost done and now I think I want to go back and do them better but don't know when I will get around to that... Speedy
The only problem with assembling a BU Jeff set is the byproduct of the frequent upgrades, rolls and rolls of circulated nickels..good for trading tho...congrats tony!
Jeffs were the first set I completed and one of my favorites. I think it may be that I was able to find even some of the tougher dates in change.
I just sold my set when I was out of work. it was awesome to put together, all BU and Proofs. I may have to do it again. It is one of the things I miss most of all the stuff I sold. Congrats!!
Should have mentioned it in my earlier post, but my wife also completed her Jefferson set, and my daughter is nearing the finish of her set. They have been fun to collect, and mostly found in change.
