  1. 9-11-2001. An extremely rare note. Especially with a New York, NY Federal Reserve District stamp. Like winning the lottery. I won the serial number lottery!

Amazing fact... The following year, 2002, the NY pick 3 lotto number came out 911 on Sept 11th.

    It's a series 2003. Is there a series 2001?
If they made 96 million of these notes then there is one for each FR district.
    12/ 96 million.

That's a nice find. According to the records, its the only one printed for the New York Fed for that series. There were star notes printed for New York with that serial number as well. Whether or not they were distributed, I have no idea.

There were a total of 6 printed for New York in Series 2001 for the Suffix letters of A-G.
