so I'm on amtrak on the way to phili and I'm wondering if anyone has any reckmendation as to what to see at the show since its the largest show I've been to.
Yeah - I did that last time since they have the only kosher place in town. I was just thinking though, anyone who comes here MUST take the side trip to the Univ of Pen museum and see what is likely the greatest ancients connection in the US...at least. It is mind numbing.
Why not go to the US Mint? Go to the gift shop and see what silver commemoratives they have. Ask the clerk if you could see 10 of the same commemorative and pick out the 70's with a loupe. I did this once and picked out 2 ms70's! Also, the food in philly is amazing!
Yeah I did. They have a real cute booth babe, but not the coins I wanted to look at. No Utrecht mint here. I was sort of bummed. Panda America is here and they have all those Japanese Perfect coins, but I passed on those as well. I did have a fantastic opurtunity to buy a 7K Sheckel.
That is the worst butchering of the spelling of Philadelphia I have ever seen. I swear you NYC boys do that on purpose just to **** us Philly boys off.
Look at the special Pandas issued by the China Mint for the Philadelphia show. They should be at the Panda America booth.
On the contrary, the water there makes the best pizza dough and bagels. Can't get that anywhere else.
Gotta be good. It's the only place on earth you can make a decent bagel....... [edit] Oops, didn't see ya there BU.
