lQQky here....idk how long this will last, until i go back to thinking more on other stuff, but its purdy kool now...i may be able to count how many coins i have:vulcan::smuggrin:...showing are my 12 RR's, top and 3 in NGC capsules, middle is the 1st 2 centuries of emperors and some wifes, with 2 in NCGcs and i still lack Didius and Pec. Niger(got the slots open & shopping), laying down are the 3rd century emperors and some wives & sons, save for 4 of 'the year of the six' which i will remedy as i go(i'm getting the 2 Becker Aemillians to put in)..i count 109 coins showing, including the Gallic emperors and the Spanish Habsburgs to the left..leaving two trays and a couple of boxes of other civilizations plus ....its kinda kool to pass by this and see all that showing at once..^^

I really like those display cases!

We currently have everything in 2x2 flips in binders...on my front stairs...I lost my last bastion of my own space and will have even less in a few months so really no place to display or even properly store right now. The only exceptions to this are some coins that FFIVN keeps on his nightstand. He has several permanent pieces there but likes to rotate others in and out.

The one benefit of having the coins there is that any time FFIVN, my daughter, or I want to look, they are right there easily accessible to us. One day, I look forward to having my own space again and being able to properly store our collection and perhaps display some like you did.

At least everything is somewhat sorted - Top binder is basically anything non-Roman/Byzantine. Bottom binder is Roman Imperial, Roman Provincial, and Byzantine.

Here is our current chaos. The picture was drawn by my daughter several years ago haha. I am not at all an artist :p

I'm sure you are more organized than I am!
I manage 3 kids, 2 dogs, 5 cats, a fish tank, and a pregnant wife on the daily.
Chaos is the only word that comes to mind when I think of my life right now.

Sorry, I didn't mean to hijack your thread haha. Lamenting over my loss of coin space. :p
FFV will be coming to a forum near you in late Jan/early Feb 2022. Still trying to figure out a name. I suggested some classics like Octavian, Severus, and even Aurelian but Mrs. FF shot those all down. The hunt continues! :)

I suggested it a couple of months ago. She shot me down.
Now we are getting closer with still no names in sight. Perhaps she will be more amenable :)

@Randy Abercrombie sent FFIV a beautiful Byzantine Anonymous Follis when he was born. He is 2 now but he knows "That's my coin!". Everything is his at this age haha but he knows that one is definitely his!

I like how yours are labeled. Are they custom trays or are they sold by a company?

I've been thinking about setting up a database for the collection. The problem though is time, not enough of it given the number coins that would have to be entered and linked to the appropriate images. As it is, I am way behind generating labels!
