OMG!! ULTRA RARE DIME VARIETY??-- 1928 Peace Dollar!

Ok, so my Grandma told me a few days ago that her friend has some coins that she would want me to look at, but probably not buy.So of course, I bring some money with. The woman shows up with her husband and I look through their coins, including about 15 Morgan dollars and 3 Peace dollars. I don't really like Peace dollars, so I look through the Morgans, and glance at the Peace, 4 1922's and a 1928S, or so I thought....It's actually a 1928!! =O!!! Anyways, I only just started looking through what I bought (I paid a above silver for all of it, for a total of about $825) and I'll have a full report later. Oh! And also in the lot, (I knew about this) was a 1916D WL half, which is about AG3-ish, so I paid like $35 for it... Here is the Peace!!!:D

I'd say it has unc details, but with the damage it would probably go 20% - 40% of what an MS63 would.

    Ok, thanks a lot! ...ok...you won't believe this now...That 1916D WL half....is actually a 1916S!!! It's still only AG3 though...still worth a lot more than a 1916D!!!

LOL. Before I read that post I was about to say "too bad it wasn't an S"

On that dime variety, it looks a little different to me.

That one worked. Not my field, but I would say that the mm's are definitely not the norm.
