    Hub doubling on incuse (sunken) devices decreases their size, rather than increasing. You are seeing what is said to be machine doubling, although I don't agree. But this is not a doubled die. If you check a few more quarters, you should come across it again.

    Sorry Kellyrae, you are going to have to keep looking for the Double Die. I have been doing this for 40+ years and I am still looking, have found numerous MD coins but no true Double Die.

    It's easy to find minor doubled dies. I assume you mean something major?

    You can't find a doubled die if you're looking for a "double" die!
