    OK...I see all of these coins certified by PCGS designated as the Omaha Bank Hoard.

    Questions...when?, how much did they find?, who owned this hoard?

    And why is a MS66RD 1949-P Lincoln Cent going for ridulous dollars. Yeah, yeah...I know about grade and rarity, but these realized dollars are crazy!

    Apparently there was a large group of coins that a collector sold to Heritage. The story was he got the coins in a bulk roll purchase years ago from a bank in Omaha. Heritage had the coins all slabbed with the notation on the holders as a pedigree. That's about all there is to it.

    Just another gimmick to get folks excited.
