That was a mouthful... Alright, up for grabs a 2009 Bobsled quarter for the 2010 Olympics held in Vancouver. I got this quarter at the first public release of the quarter, and an Olympic athlete herself was there signing the booklets. Forgive me, I forget her name to be honest, but it's signed by her, When I figure out her name I'll let you know. And believe it or not, I had CT in mind for when she signed it!! Just post here and you a have shot at winning. So... First day release, signed by a bobsled Athlete herself, directed staright to a CT member.
So these entry arent fun to read... tell me somethign about yourself. Something cool. Like... ever done something crazy? not necesary to winning but makes it funner to read
Very cool, but don't count me in... I already got a bobsled quarter from the Canadian Mint at the L.A. ANA show, very cool that you had her autograph it like that though
Nice of you to think ahead for this great contest. Hmmm, something crazy, nope never done anything like that I jumped off a bridge just cause some people I had just met were doing it. About 20-25 ft. above the water. A gross side story:It used to be one of those bridges with the I-beams in a crisscross or v pattern theat went over it. When they put a new bridge in, they just blew up the old one and all the metal was still down there. Had to go back and clean out all the metal after a kid got a testicle ripped off from the metal when he jumped in. His name was Marty if I remember correctly.
Ouch, just ouch. Very cool memento right there, wouldn't mind putting it in with my Olympic coin/stamp collection Here is some accidental crazy involving Canada: I went up to Glacier National Park one year with the family and we went over the border to see some more of the park/just to say we had been to Canada. While up there we decided to hike back into the woods to see a waterfall. It was a very nice looking one with two drops. Well, I decided to climb up to the pool between the two falls. Once I got up there, I was whooping it up and fooling around and *splash* fell into the pool. Luckily there wasn't a lot of current in there or I might have had a really crazy experience. I managed to swim back up to the edge and get back down. The best part about this story to me though is that I was wearing a nice leather fedora at the time, and despite being almost completely dunked, it didn't get more then a couple drops of water on it. No idea how that happened.
