Found this coin a while ago while searching through halves. Just wonder what a value of something like this would be?

Is this something worth getting graded or not?

holy cow, thanks green18. I brought it to my local coin shop and he said he would give me 5 dollars for it... -.- Glad i didn't sell it to him!

Also is this something worth getting graded or not?

Ya know? I'm not the right guy to answer that question. I just did a quick search and that's what popped. Getting coins graded is an expensive trip down the road. I've never submitted anything. I've always made some other poor devil submit it before I bought it.

Ken those were the uncirculated ones you linked to. The proof versions, which it looks to me the OP's is, goes for less than half than the uncs. Plus the OP said he found it in a roll and it appears to be in less than pristeen condition and as such is definitely not worth submitting for grading.

Still a neat find in a roll.

As said before, grading can be pricey, too pricey for that coin. It is still an awesome coin, especially for a roll find!!

Dang, I'll say. Nice coin and I love the Olympics but the coin will have to go in someone else's collection. :D
