OK, today I was working at my bank when the Burger King people came in to drop off their business deposit. As I was going through it for the deposit, this Series 1963A SF $10 note was among the bills. Once I finished their deposit, I set it aside for myself...and when I had the chance, I made a withdraw and got the bill. Its pretty circulated, but I liked it and for face...I could always spend it if I got desperate. What do you think?
I think it's not too shabby, you had a good eye and, YES, you can always spend it but keep it for now. Nice find. clembo
Suh-weet! Awesome find! I've always prefered the older note designs better for some reason. Very nice find man! :thumb: Phoenix
I found one of those tooo a week ago!! I spent it in Boston when I was extremly intoxicated for cab fare . I was going back a girls dorm who I just met.:goofer:
RichieB16 - Nice find - tuck it away! Woodenspoon Boy - LOL - money well spent - cab fare and all ... That really cracked me up! Darryl
I agree, there's something about the design of the old US notes that make them very appealing. Yesterday, I received a bunch of old 1 dollar notes and silver certificates from the 30's and 50's that I had bought, and thought I paid too much for. That is, until I got them in my hands... Sometimes the prize is more important then the price!
thats a pretty rare circulation find. i never find any $10 bills older than 1993. its not worth much over face value but i would keep it. someone probaly had it stashed away for awhile and decided to spend it. thats mostly how older bills get in circulation.
