Ive had this ancient for a month now but been too wrapped up in my other hobby to post it. Since its slow I figured I would finally post it. Shes one of the few affordable empresses I needed still and needless to say this was bought very cheap. Its a common type as far as mint and such but it didnt matter to me. What did was the look and price. Galeria Valeria (293-311 A.D.) AE Follis O: GAL VAL-ERIA AVG, diademed and draped bust right. R: VENERI V-ICTRICI, Venus standing facing, head left, holding up apple and raising drapery; K-Γ/P, ALE in exergue. Alexandria Mint 23mm 6.85g RIC VI 110
I'm lovin' the cool, yellow, desert patina (it's very Clint Eastwood!!) I think it's a total winner!! (congrats)
I know exactly what you mean, my ten other hobbies are taking up massive amounts of my time. Nice coin, its got a nice brown background to it.
Silver & Bronze age comic books. I have many other hobbies but thats the one I am enjoying more at this time
