I just found these two bills in a box with some Canadian coins. Any help with values would be greatly appreciated - hopefully more than $60! 4B8C61DC-A31B-4D4B-A76D-348E27913C75.jpeg C85E0B21-9D8A-48E2-975D-B93DB4298EB0.jpeg 0AC5442A-ADD2-4AA5-AB96-1668790CB533.jpeg 91450250-7E42-4D37-80B9-8EB03D046D4C.jpeg

The $10 note is cool, I would bet it's worth decent money

Edit: A quick search of heritage auctions sold listings shows its probably worth between 500 and 900

Thank you Ken. I’ll emailed them for a quote. I’d hate to sell the Punxsutawney 10 since I doubt that I’ll hold another one of those in my hands again anytime soon!

Very nice notes. Yes they are worth more than $60.00.

I found a very similar $50 note that sold on eBay for $68. So, it appears the value of the $10 far exceeds the $50!

Below are some updated photos of the Punxsutawney $10 note. There is a tiny tear on the bottom edge center under “Cash”. I’m seriously considering sending it to PNG for grading. I’ve been told the 1928 $50 bill borders on being a spender.

Here’s how she graded at PMG. The $10 Punxsutawney note is very scarce. I’m pretty happy with the grade.

Did you use the $50 note to pay for the grading of the $10??? :woot::)

I suspected that the $50 note was close to being a spender. I had something similar that I held onto for 30+ years...never amounted to much. But I'm delighted your $10 note fetched a handsome estimate!! I don't think I could part with that either. Just a very interesting piece of currency!
