old coin

    i found a very thin, copper, (i think) coin. i can not find one like it any where on the internet. anybody know what it is? the date is either 1557, 1757, 1857, not sure. it has the letters sesino, (think) a cross. i will post a photo of it if i can fugure out how to.

    I would need to see a photo before I would guess---It might be a world coin and not a US...

    how do i get a pic. on here? and i think you are right, it isn't a US coin

    Sesino is a 6 denari (rather low denomination) coin minted in many Italian states (Venice, Parma, Genova, etc), but they did not stamp "sesino" on them up to more or less beginning of 18th century, so 1757 would be most likely...
