Something about this does not seem right. I am not knowledgeable enough about this series and would wait for some expert to chime in.

I am afraid (v) is right: this coin is a fake. The portrait of Carlos III is completely wrong and so is the lettering of the legends.
It is the replica of a Mexican 8 reales.
