Old coin miss stamp worth?

Ive just inhereted an old Half Dime dated 1857, this part I know, but...the back is blank except for the Caligraphic stamped S on it, it is in fair condition (worn but recognizable and readible). Could anybody tell me if it may be of some worth and if needed i could send a Pic of both sides of the coin if needed. my email addy is johndliz@yahoo.com

It sounds like a Love Token---in fact....I'm pretty sure that is what it is. Value is pretty much what you can get for it.

It is probably worth in the $10-$20 ballpark unless the engraving is exceptionally nice.
