Old Coin - Help Identify

    Hello,
    Can anyone help me identify this item? I was told it was a type of ancient currency[​IMG][​IMG]. I picked this up when I was a kid at a card show. Maybe it's just a piece of bronze scrap? Many thanks for your time!

    This is a Sikh Paisa from the Punjab.
    The central element in the top photo is a Pipal leaf. A symbol seen on many Sikh coins.
