wether ive had a good find or not i dont know but i have in my possesion a brass piece, 28mm, one side it says IN TEMPESTATE SECVRITAS over a diagram of a boat with 2 figures at sea a sail and looks as they are in some sort of storm on the other side, s.georgivs eqvitvm patronvs, over a diagram of a knight on a horse attacking a dragon with a spear of some sort, round the edge of the piece is a rope like feature. also a sort of ring at the top where maybe it clipped on to a neclace? unfortunatley this rin is broken. any help or imformation would be muchly appreciated thanks
It is a religious medal. "INTEMPESTATE SECVRITAS" really means "Safety in the Storm". The men in the boat were most likely a disciple and Christ on a rough sea.
