Old Chinese coin, any info?

    This is one of the first coins I found with my metal detector, over 30 years ago P4070049.JPG P4070048.JPG . Chinese workers helped build the Erie canal near here in the early 1800s. Does anyone know what it is and if it's got any value? Thanks for helping.

    I shrunk these pics to 76K, and they still posted huge.....

    Thanks for the link. Looks like they made a LOT of varieties.
    I believe this is :
    Emperor Jen Tsung
    Chai-Ch'ing era 1796-1820
    "Boo-Yon"
    Yunnan Mint

    Correct. In the modern Pinyin Anglicization, its Ren Zong, Jia Qing reign. Yunnan province mint, cast 1796-circa 1818. Hartill 22.542
