Vietnam Blackhorse slot token issued by 11th Armored Cav. It catalogs for $8. Yeah right. Try finding one at any price.
Of all my coins of both US issued and world issued this is by far my "baby". I am just blown away by the detail on the reverse and the weight of the coin. Photos just don't do this coin justice, you really need to see it in hand. It is a true work of art.
That is an Iceland 1930 5 Kronur, (sorry). Commemorating the 1000yr anniversary of Althing. It is one of 3 coins that were released, these are the other 2. All 3 are just outstanding, the Bronze coin is the 2 Kronur and the silver is a 10 Kronur. I wouldn't part with any of them.
Ah, I've seen the 2 & 10 before. I figured it was an Icelandic commemorative becasue of the dates. Great coins.
Bought this one in 2010, a long time coming, but worth the wait. Not a high grade but good enough for me. I added my '55 DD since you like them. I like 'em also. .
I seem to be showing this one here more than I probably should. I'd imagine that some people are getting tired of it, but I can't help it since it was my very first error that I found in a Mint order and it only cost me 68c. Chris
I do not have a coin that I cannot part with, I do however have a couple in my inventory that I have placed high prices on though (with the intent that they will not sell for a while). One is my 1906-S US Philippine Peso. Most people do not know how truly rare a problem free example is and it could take me years (and a lot of money) to ever get another. It now resides in a PCGS EF45 holder...
