This is what my lip looked like when I was stung multiple times by multiple white-faced hornets while working as a quality control & preservation inspector on electrical poles. I was so mad! My boss was like you wanna go back to the hotel? I was just a cussing, waiting for my equipment so I could start my way to the next pole. I replied with almost no dignity left (so mad lol)..."No, i dont!! No damn bee gonna send me back to the hotel like some puss!! ". What a day that was. *Sigh* .. I was lucky I got away with only 13 to 14 stings. But boy did my lip swell up!! Now, it took me all of 30 to 40 minutes before I was able to reclaim my equipment because the hornets were steadily attacking it. This happened at the exact moment that our supervisor had dropped in for a surprise visit!
@Kristine Garrant I can’t help but laugh but you tell a good story. Hope all is better now and your lip is back to normal.
I would like to know how the heck did you got those bees to sting old Abe! Would like to see the entire coin. Watch where you're going not where you've been, right. Bet when you think about it the pain comes back, ouch. Thanks for sharing your pain and coin. Good luck.
