Who in heck buy's these coin's off of the "Smiling Jack" network? (HSN's Mike Mes***)? I have NEVER seen a good deal on there, I learn a lot, but how do they sell overpriced set's and coin's? They say there are 200 million pps collecting now but I have never heard of anyone ordering from ANY of the "home shopping" channels. Have you? I mean seriously, I don't understand...it blow's me away. :) :D :p

My understanding is that collectors don't buy from such sellers (duh - next I'll tell you the sky is blue!). The major purchasers are friends and relatives of collectors. For example, non-collector grandma buys from them for her collector grandson.

I've also heard that when they go on a major acquisition binge, they purchase enough to noticeably influence the market.

I wonder how they pay the bills?

PT Barnum, wasn't he that guy who found a real living dead mermaid that looked kind of like a fish sewn onto a monkeys body but was really a mermaid?

Tell me more about this coin network. It sounds like I could get a good deal?

    Ok I'm acting loopy.

Sounds like that would be on the mark for a large segment of their sales.
That and the impluse buy of someone up at night and had a few to many.
