I bought a 2019 1 oz Austrian Silver Leopold V Coin BU coin. I don't usually buy world coins but since I had $15.33 in eBucks why not. It looks cool and could be a KOCT type token. I'll do my image when it arrives.
Cool piece. This is the Leopold V coin from the "825th Anniversary of the Vienna Mint" series. Leopold was the duke who arrested Richard I (Lionheart) and would not release him until he got lots of silver for Richard. The silver that England paid was then used to mint coins - in that brand new mint. By the way, in October there will be a "Robin Hood" coin in that series. Sure, legend rather than historical figure, but the character is connected to the Richard story too - and popular of course. (Edit - This is the English version of the video.) Christian
Might attract some new female collectors, hehe. Nah, the third and last coin in that mini-series will probably feature Robin's upper half so to say. This is the design, still subject to possible modifications ... Christian
