Canada $1 Million 2007 100kg Gold Maple Leaf.

I thought the Panama Balboa coin was huge!

    Read about it at http://www.teletrade.com/coins/lot.asp?auction=2409&lot=1258

I like the button next to the headline that reads "Low Mintage" -- I should say!

    Two questions:
    1. Is it just me, or does the center maple leaf on the reverse look like a lot like a marijuana leaf?
    2. When will they make vending machines that accept this coin (and make change)?

Er, I don't remember vending machines even accepting one ounce silver coins, much less 2 ounce, 5 ounce and bigger! I do have a few 5 ounce coins.

Well, now that you mention it getting a marijuana leaf in change is probably more feasible than a million dollar coin.

I guess you haven't been paying attention Steve. Nowadays the current face value of that coin is $924,440 according to this site.
