i recently found this forum and hope to frequent it often... I came across a 2000 new hampshire quarter that is offset app. 1/8" I'm not sure where/how to research this.. Am working on getting pix to post if it would help........ thankz in advance for any input...................... T
The first quation is, are both sides "offset? If so then it is an offcenter strike. If only one is offset, then it is a misaligned die. 1/8" is not too dramatic, but I am sure it still has some interest. Is any of the detail actually missing?
as to the first. it is both sides so im assuming it is offcenter.. as to missing detail, not really... it is off to the bottom right.. front side the letters dollar are on the edge.. on the back the mountains go to the edge so ... hopefully tomorrow i will be able to post pics... once again tnx
