Hello everyone, I just wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas and happy holidays. The end of this month is going to be extremely hectic for me and I won't be able to post for a few weeks. My wife and I just bought our first apartment and we're moving this weekend...F-R-E-E-D-O-M. Then we go to California for a week to visit my family. After we get back we travel to Savannah, Georgia, so we can pick-up our Christmas gift to each other...a Miniature Pincsher puppy. This is our first dog too. Can't wait. Anyway, I also want to thank everyone for welcoming me here. I've already learned a great deal of information and I plan to learn so much more. In fact, I think it will be my New Years resolution...to devote my life (or free time for now) to this wonderful hobby/profession. So, what are all your plans for the holidays? What type of gifts are you hoping to get? What are your New Year's resolutions?
Happy holidays to you also. My kids and I are going to be baking this year. I got a Sunbeam Mixmaster for myself as an early Christmas gift and my youngest son's Christmas program is this morning, so we'll be going to that. I'm really looking forward to the short break. We have been so busy the last couple of weeks that I don't know if I'm coming or going half the time. Have a great time on your trip and congratulations on you first apartment!
Back atcha! We're not doing much this year. We went to California for Thanksgiving (where I lived almost my whole life) to spend with family; last Christmas we went up to my parents' place in Oregon (and were treated to a wonderful snowfall one morning which my nephews loved). This year, we're going to be here. I'm not sure what we'll do yet, but at least it's restful and includes time off from work.
