I just bought a used copy of George W. Wait's New Jersey Money and am willing to look up any notes members may have. The book covers not only obsolete banknotes, but also private scrip and colonials. Haxby has no private scrip listed in his book, so Wait is the only source I know of for these issues. The book is broken down by city and gives the issuer (if known), denomination, description, and estimated rarity. It also has many high-quality pictures in it, and some small description of the company or bank (dates of operation, etc.). It also includes a fair amount of information concerning the history of money in New Jersey. It was published in 1976 and is a bit outdated, but still a valuable resource to have. I think it's much better than Haxby. If anyone needs info on a New Jersey obsolete just let me know and I'll see if I can help. Bruce
