eBay auction headline: "85% off-center 1909-S VDB!!!!" Very nice error. I like seeing how these get graded MS-65+
Mint Errors and what they are worth I was a bank teller for alot of years, and used to sit and roll bags of coin at a coin rolling machine of coarse! Anyway I ended up stopping up the machine with these mint errors. I think I even threw some of them out at the time. Dumb, but I really didn't think they were a collectable. Now after all these years I still have them in an envelope and have no idea what they are worth. How can I find out? I also may want to sell them. Thanks for any help, this is my first post or reply.:hail:
The redbook lists off center lincolns as $5-$8 depending on whether they are copper or zinc. Dimes, quarters and halfs are more valuable. Ones with readable dates are worth more, and the condition does matter. Do not clean them. A Coin dealer will undercut you on these. Try a coin show or e-bay. Post some pictures if you can.
