Who does not like the idea of space travel? Here are some numismatic items. This medal was struck from material that included the recovered booster stage of the Apollo 11 Mission. The maker was the Lincoln Mint. The medals originally were distributed to contractors who worked at the Cape.

Sy, aka Skyman, on the NGC forums has a HUGE(!) collection of autographed space memorabilia from the Mercury through Apollo space programs.

Heritage is running an auction now in their History section. I downloaded the pdf of the catalog, but I have an older catalog in hard copy. When I worked at Kennedy Space Center, I saw a lot of this stuff and heard about much more. There's a ton of spaceflown materials out there and enough other stuff to, well heck, start a space program. I have about 25 Shuttle mission packets with photos and patches. In fact, I put on my own flight jacket, patches from the two missions I actually worked as a contractor. But my favorites are still the 1960 "Project Mercury" bubblegum cards with 3-D images on the back.

More in the numismatic stream is a Military Payment Certificate with (I think) Gene Cernan's Gemini Spacewalk. I also include an India 2-rupee with a communication satellite. After that, the coins and notes become more about "science" in general and the focus shifts to aviation - Saint Exupery, Santos-Dumont, et al.
