Off to PCGS

Here is the 1909 Lincoln VDB I bought back in november. I thought it would be appropriate to send it off to PCGS on Lincolns birthday! I posted a poll as to what you guys think the grade is going to be, I will post the final grade when I get the coin back.

**NOTE** Coin is not as red as in the picture.

I can not really tell that good but i think MS64 or 65. Is that a scratch through the O in one cent?

 

I dont remember there being a scratch there. I think it is something on the mylar.

 

is that a pink 2x2 or a white 2x2, lol

Get the color right and we can guess. Looks good tho.

 

Lol its white:goofer: Thats why I said the color is off. Not sure what caused it but I am still working on my coin picture taking skills.

 

See if these look any better. And I don't see any scratch in the "O".

 

For strike and hits, it's lookin pretty gemmy. Better pics would help, and yes, I do understand it is an art you have to work on to get there, it does not come easy.

At risk of the dark pics, I'd say I see a 65RD there, maybe better. I have a bunch of them. The coin you posted is sweet:smile

 

Is that a die crack above the G in GOD? :kewl:

It could be a retained strike thru?
