Found this 1989 P dime today looks to be an off center strike, not sure of that is the correct term for it or not...But what is your guess on possible worth? I know it's not insanely expensive but was just looking for a round about ball park.

    Thanks

Does the reverse look the same?

If the reverse is the same then yes, an off center. If the reverse is correct then it is a MAD "Mis Aligned Die".

It would have to be someone that really wanted it and they wouldn't spend much more than face value. ALOT of dimes have some misalignment. I would imagine that there are people looking to put a set of misaligned dies together that may spend up to a buck ,for common clads, if it was a year they needed.

    Triple collar dime

I have a dime that is off center and has 3 collars on almost half of the dime. Would the value of this on be more than a dollar? I was advised to take it along with some double dies ( quarter and 1964 half dollar) and have them verfied. By the way error coin collectors, if I own it - it is for sale. Any reply would be helpful to me,

No biggie Ebeth...It's all good. Sometimes though when a topic is posted and others put a comment in to the existing post that is maybe a little bit self serving and or off topic or directs others away from the orginal posters post it is termed "Hi-jacking" of the post. what you did wasn't Hi-jacking in the true sense of the term. I was just messin more than anything...Welcome to the forum and yes this forum as well as many other forums no matter what your interests are, are a great way to gain knowledge.

    Take care!
