off center penny Mint error

another of the coins in the giant hoard ive been sorting. any thoughts on this? value? i know absolutely nothing about error coins so i figured id post it on here.

These are not uncommon, and certainly not rare like the flip suggests... LOL

IF It had a date $7-8 would not be out of the question, but be that as it may, yours does not have the date showing.... Fair market value $3-4

 

thanks for the reply as i said i know nothing at all about error coins and have no desire to collect them just thought id check into it.

 

Did you purchase this collection yourself? What does it consist of?

 

It would still behoove you to know what an error or die varieties are because you will never know what you may come across..by then it may be to late.
